Man Up and Go welcomes you to support Mission4Masese, our special artisans project that helps us reduce fatherlessness among the widows and single mothers of Masese III, a slum community in Jinja, Uganda, where Man Up has operated since 2011.
Mission4Masese will be on display at the RAW Artists Showcase on June 21 in Nashville, TN. RAW directors hand-pick and spotlight local artistic talent in cities all across the world, and it is an honor to have been chosen for their showcase! However, to meet out ticket quota participation requirement, we still need 14 people to purchase a ticket at $22. These tickets must be sold by June 14th in order for us to participate in the showcase.
The great thing about this intiative is that you do not have to live in the Nashville area to help us out! Just head over to our Mission4Masese RAW Artists page and click where it says Buy Tickets. Again, you do not have to physically attend to help us meet our ticket quota.
Your online purchase, regardless of your ability to physically attend, will allow our the Mission4Masese jewelry to be showcased at this huge event.
All of the Mission4Masese jewelry is handmade from recycled paper by Ugandan women in Masese, and ultimately helps fund their children's educations at the Bethel Junior School. The women are paid generous and fair wages for each necklace they make, providing them with a reliable source of income to support their families. In addition, 100% of the profits from Mission4Masese jewelry sales are inserted directly back into the Masese III community in order to create sustainable change and lasting impacts.
Thanks for your support in helping us fight for the fatherless in Uganda!
