Jeff was not even supposed to be on his first Man Up and Go trip in 2012, but a failed domestic adoption opened the door last minute that allowed him the privilege of serving. After co-leading trips the following two years and feeling called to ministry work, the founding leaders of Man Up tapped Jeff as first ever CEO of the organization.
Jeff believes the current orphan crisis in the world stems, in part, from men abdicating their responsibilities in the home. Whenever a family is absent loving guidance from both mother and father, the children suffer. Jeff’s hope is to see families restored, children adopted, widows served, and men encouraged through the efforts of Man Up, and is excited to lead the charge to GO!
In addition to his role with Man Up and Go, Jeff runs an online savings blog called AddictedtoSaving.com with his wife, Liza. They currently live in Trinity, FL, with their son Asher, whom they adopted from Ethiopia in 2013, and daughter Jolie, whom they adopted from China in 2016. Jeff is active with his local church where he serves as a deacon and is in the unenviable position of being a lifelong Chicago Bears fan.
