Our Mission

To shape a better future for orphans by making Jesus known, being a father to the fatherless, and equipping each man to take personal responsibility for his faith, family, and community. We want to see Less Orphans, More Families.

ENCOURAGE our ministry partners.

God has given Man Up and Go tremendous favor in identifying pastors and ministry partners on the ground in Uganda who are quite simply getting it done. These men and their wives are just as passionate about James 1:27 as we are. They’re on the front lines caring for children and discipling the men and women in their communities with vigor, excellence, and tenacity.  It’s our conviction that we have zero right to tell these pastors how to do the work of ministry; they are far more competent to reach their communities than we are. Our job is to work alongside, encourage, and when able, bolster their efforts to make the most of the opportunities God has presented (Colossians 4:5).

Over the past five years, we have carefully vetted these local pastors based on the following criteria: that they love the Lord, have a sustainable track record of orphan care, have fiscal integrity, and demonstrate the fruit of their relationship with the Triune God. We are unabashedly nondenominational in our ministry partner approach; instead, we affirm the idea that wherever God is moving is where we want to be.
