Not So Different

The following was written by Susan, a single-mother from the Tampa area who has been to Ethiopia before, but this was her first visit to Uganda.

The biggest piece of the trip that has grabbed hold and begun to take root is the women. The time we spent with the village women in Pallisa, I could have gladly spent days with them. The same with the women in Masese. While our cultures and circumstances are widely different, as women we are not so very different at all.
