AMP’d is designed to be a brotherhood between experienced men (EM’s) and young men aging out of foster care (YM’s) who want to help one another grow in authentic masculinity.
- Must be 18
- Must have spent time in foster care
- Must be male
- Must apply & be approved
- Must have a sponsor
- Sign Brotherhood Agreement
- Sign Hold Harmless
- Commit for 6 months
- Weekly attendance (70% minimum)
- Weekly check-ins with your EM

Our culture has all kinds of ideas about what it means to be a man, and many of these have been called out recently as “toxic masculinity.” Man Up has recruited men who understand what real, or authentic masculinity is all about, and have succeeded in life because of it.
We’re looking for young men who have aged-out of foster care who are interested in increasing their skills and see the value of doing life with an experienced man who has been there before.
