Mentor and Trauma Training – St. Pete
May 17 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Those attending the Mentor & Trauma Training workshop on May 22 can expect to be supported, resourced, and educated on how to better understand and interact with children, teens, and young adults with backgrounds of childhood trauma.
The training will be especially helpful for mentors and caregivers engaging with those who have endured adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), toxic stress, and maltreatment, all of which are commonly seen in our child welfare system, commonly referred to as “foster care.
Drawing on current brain research, family connection models, and the personal stories of impacted children, this training can truly revolutionize the way you view and interact with those impacted by childhood trauma.
