BE PART OF THE TEAM
This coming May a group of 4 to 6 individuals will help support two ministries in Uganda, Home Again Ministries in Jinja and Kerith Ministries in Pallisa. Our focus is to spread the gospel by showing love and humility. We will be working one on one with women and children experiencing poverty to determine what the local ministries can do to better support them spiritually and emotionally. We will meet with wives whose husbands have participated in Man Up and Go’s Masculinity Training to see how it has affected their family’s spiritually and economically. We will also be attending schools where we will be able to play with and encourage young children as well as attend church programs with local members.
WHY SHOULD YOU GO TO UGANDA?
Being part of this team going to Uganda is a great way to grow spiritually and it allows you to see and do new things. You’ll have an adventure! The Ugandan people are warm, hospitable and encouraging. You will make new friends and you will make a big difference in the lives of those you meet, all you need to do is be there and be YOURSELF!
Consider signing up to be part of this team. You can sign up at anytime and children are welcome to attend. The team size will be 4 to 6 individuals. We are estimating that our travel dates will be May 28 – June7, but this may change due to when we can get a cheaper flight. With this said, your overall cost may go down closer to the trip once the plane ticket is purchased since this is the biggest cost. We also ask you let others know about this trip and ask that they help support you through prayer, with financial support or both. Fundraising is a great way to tell your loved ones about this opportunity as well as tell them how they can help ease the financial burden of the trip. There can be some uncertainties connected to being part of a mission team, but there will for sure be a team going to Uganda at the end of May and we hope you will be there with us!!!!!!
