WHAT IS PATROS?
After being a highly recruited wide receiver at Ohio State, Kam Babb missed both the 2018 and 2019 seasons with two separate ACL injuries in each knee.
Kam’s story is one of unexpected hardships and perseverance. You can tune into more of his story here. When football was taken away from him, he could have easily been bitter about the hand he was dealt.
Instead, he found strength in his faith and pursued a whole new purpose by being the man God called him to be. We travel alongside Kam as he sits down with other Godly men to find out what being a Patros is all about.
But what is Patros?
You see, the United States has a massive problem. The problem of fatherlessness.
Our country actually leads the world in fatherlessness.
Currently, over 50% of children born to women under 30 do not have a father present in the home. Additionally, 80% of children in single-parent households live with their mothers.
This means children in the U.S. are more likely to grow up without a biological, step, or adoptive father figure than anywhere else in the world.
Because of this harsh reality, our mission with Patros is to empower men to bridge this gap and disciple the next generation in accordance with Jesus' command to support the fatherless.
Since we know discipleship can be a tricky word and passing on your faith seems like no easy feat, we've created Patros.
Kam travels around the country to chat with some of the most impactful voices for godly manhood in his life and in our culture.
We've turned those cherished conversations into Patros, an on-demand video library featuring in-depth training resources designed to cultivate a God-centered heart in men, equipping them to serve those impacted by fatherlessness.
