WHAT THE INFLUENCER GENERATION IS GETTING WRONG

In our digital age, we're inundated with information, opinions, and influencers vying for our attention.

From social media to news outlets, we're constantly bombarded with messages that can shape our beliefs, values, and our identity. But amidst this noise, how can we find a solid foundation for who we are in Christ and share that with others?

The answer lies in the "iFactor", a framework that explores the different levels of influence and impact we can have in the world.

Let's delve into each level and discover how they relate to our journey toward being Christ-like.

Level 1: Influencer

Influencers can spark interest and inspire us to buy a product or follow a trend. However, their influence is often superficial and fleeting. While they may temporarily capture our attention, they don't provide the lasting fulfillment and purpose we crave.

Level 2: Impression

Everyone wants to make a good impression. We strive to be liked, respected and admired. However, leaving a positive impression is not the ultimate goal. It's important to remember that our worth is not determined by the opinions of others.

Level 3: Impact

The impact is a more meaningful level of influence. When we impact someone's life for the better, we leave a lasting legacy. We can inspire others, offer support, and make a difference in our communities.

Level 4: Imitation

The Apostle Paul encourages us in 1 Corinthians 11:1 to "imitate me, as I imitate Christ." Imitation is about following the example of Jesus and embodying His character. When we strive to live like Christ, we become beacons of hope and inspiration for others.

Level 5: Impartation

Impartation is the highest level of influence. It involves not only imitating Christ but also sharing His love and truth with others. When we impart our faith to others, we become agents of transformation and help them discover their identity in Him.

The "iFactor" challenges us to go beyond mere influence and impression and strive for levels of impact, imitation, and impartation. But to truly embrace this call, we must be intentional about our actions.

Are you ready to double down on the "iFactor" and make a lasting impact on the world?

Here’s a challenge send out text as an individual invitation to another guy with an encouraging Scripture or quote and invite him to join you at a Man Up 100 Gathering!

Join us at the Man Up 100 Gathering on September 14th. Together, we will gather as brothers and then go into the world, imparting God’s love.

Let’s be men who are not just influenced by the world, but who intentionally influence the world for Christ. The time is now.
